Born in 1985, Howard Thomas Michael Jones is an artist who has overcome significant personal challenges to pursue his passion for music. Diagnosed early in life with organic brain disorder, autism, and diabetes, Howard faced a difficult road ahead. After surviving a car accident at the age of four, he began experiencing visions of angels, a turning point he credits as the beginning of his musical journey.

Howard started writing songs at just nine years old, despite struggling with seizures that made writing and communication difficult. By age sixteen, his lyrical clarity had developed, and he began honing his singing skills. In 2004, he competed in Knoxville Idol, earning 3rd place and gaining local recognition.

His early work gained traction on MySpace, where he broke into the Top 100, peaking at #79. As digital platforms evolved, Howard adapted, sharing his music across various social media channels. From 2007 to 2013, he made it onto the Billboard charts under the alias King of Bass with his breakout dubstep project Dubstep Boom. His chart rankings ranged between #89 and #100, marking him as a persistent presence in the scene.

Today, Howard continues to make waves internationally, often landing on music charts and growing his audience on platforms like YouTube, where he has over 20,000 subscribers. Despite personal losses in 2020, including the passing of loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic, he has remained active as a songwriter and performer. Known since 2004 as the King of Bass, Howard Thomas Michael Jones is a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of music to uplift and endure.
